Laud Mansfield Baddoo is a seasoned Financial and Investment Analyst and Chartered Banker with a successful career spanning over 30 years of experience.
Having started his banking career from SSB Bank Limited – now Societe Generale Ghana Limited (SG Bank) where he worked in various capacities – General Banking, he eventually moved to the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB Bank) where he retired from active service as General Manager, Corporate and Institutional Banking.
As General Manager, he was responsible for the management of the Corporate Relationships as well as the Development of the Bank’s Corporate Business, Marketing and Product Development. He also supervised Credit Appraisals, Reviews and Management, Performance Reviews and Management, Teams Portfolio Management, Credits and Loan Recovery.
He has served on the Boards of Gratis Foundation, Venture Capital Trust Fund and SIC Life Company Limited.
Recently, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, appointed him as one of the Eminent Persons to the Governing Council of the National African Peer Review Mechanism (NAPRM).
Mr. Baddoo is a product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). He also attended the West London College and City Banking College, all in the UK. He holds an MBA in Finance, and Post Chartered Diploma in Treasury and Financial Risk Management. Laud Mansfield Baddoo is a FELLOW of The Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.
Mr. Baddoo has attended many International Courses and Seminars in the UK, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Egypt, UAE, China and Tunisia in addition to his personal educational feats.
